Congenius Beginnings
Founded in 2016, Congenius sought to make a difference in areas the everyday company can find difficult – wearing so many hats most company leaders find themselves spending more time on the “stuff” and less time driving forward on their strategy. Our leaders spent many years working at Fortune 100, 500, to Start-Up organizations where we wrestled with the question, how do we solve our tech, branding, or people issues? Our struggles mirrored that of every company – independent of industry type! We know how to create growth, it’s starts with putting our best people in the right place, that’s where we connect our genius. Our tech footprint in this digital age is everything. We are connected in tech and it’s intential; our team has experience in all things tech in nearly all industries. In 2020, Congenius acquired zDistance Labs US, an emerging tech organization that is led by IT veterans with over 50 years of combined experience. This partnership puts us at the forfront of leading tech for everyday companies in addition to enterprise companies. Sean Miller serves as Managing Partner for both Congenius and zDistance Labs US.

Managing Partner & People Lover
Sean is a business leader whose background includes stints in large-scale operations, start-ups and everything in between. He has experience in leadership, sales, marketing, tech, consulting, and product development serving in Property & Casualty Insurance and Healthcare industries. As a versatile consultant, Sean has led engagements in several industries; celebrating milestones in brand development, strategy & product development, to delivering technology projects. Sean attended Arizona State University and has Sun Devil pride, along with love for his New York Giants, Knicks, and Mets. Sean serves on the board for a Non-Profit Organization, Los Ojos De La Familia Arizona, which aims to help families in need. As Congenius’ Managing Partner, Sean, is responsible for growth, driving capabilities, partnership delivery, and loving our Genius consulting team.
Shelby Fischler
Graphic Designer | Digital Marketing
Shelby was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina; a small town known for the Marine Corps community it houses. She went to East Carolina University to obtain her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Since graduating, she moved down to Central Florida to intern with The Walt Disney Company and continues networking and growing in the tourist industry. Shelby was recruited for Congenius in November 2020 and began her journey using her Genius of Design. She enjoys working for Congenius because it provides on-the-job experience and gets to work with various clients across the country.
Joanna Pearson
Lead Copywriter
Born and raised in Phoenix, JoAnna opted to attend the more prestigious University of Arizona over ASU for her Bachelor’s in History and Political Science. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education, and has been teaching since 2008. JoAnna loves being a copywriter for Congenius because every assignment is different and challenging, and allows her to make extra income in her limited free time as she’s also a mom to two young (perfect) kids!
Deepu Vikraman
Principal Development Engineer
Deepu is our Principal Engineer with more than 17 years of experience in IT. He had worked with Infosys and Cognizant Technology Solutions over the last 15+ years. Deepu is experienced working with startups and enterprise clients like Nordstrom, Walmart, Pepsi, Payless Shoes, Target, Sears, Travelers etc in Retail and Insurance Industry. He has a very strong technical background in technologies like .NET Core, Java, Python, WordPress, and AWS.
He also has experience in solution architecture, cloud-native architecture, application architecture and design and technology assessments.
He has domain experience in eCommerce, Retail merchandising, Recommendation system integration, Reporting, Payment gateway integration and Bond & Speciality insurance
He has a master degree in Computer Science and holds a bachelor degree in Electronics Science.
Shefeek Rahman
Chief IT Architect
Shefeek is a Lead Architect with more than 18 years in architecting , designing , developing and delivering robust software systems . His client Tele includes TESCO, Nordstrom, BestBuy, GAP, Sears, Jansen- Cilag, StarBucks, L’oreal and more. His industry domain experience spanned in Retail, Healthcare, Pharma ,fashion, Education and Travel. He is strong in designing a software system and an AWS certified solution architect . He is expertise in performance engineering and instrument the software to meet the scaling needs .He is expertise in cloud native development , .Net , Java , python, Machine learning , native android and iOs development and AR/MR/VR/XR.
He holds Masters in Computer science.
